Enrollment

We are excited that you have chosen River’s Edge Christian Academy for your student’s education!

Families may submit an online application, using the steps outlined below, at any time for K4 through 8th grades. High school students (9-12th grades) may transfer in no later than the first three weeks of each semester. RECA is not on block scheduling, therefore any high school student currently using block scheduling can only transfer into RECA’s high school program in August and not in January.

2021-2022 Enrollment Information

Our enrollment availability for 2021-22 is extremely limited. Though we are nearly at full capacity, please email info@riversedgeca.com to inquire if there are openings in your grade. We do offer a waitlist for classes that are full.

  • Elementary Limited Space at our North Campus. Accepting applications for our West and Main waitlist.
  • Middle School Very limited space in 6th-8th grades.
  • High School We cannot accept high school transfers at this time. Please consider joining the RECA family for the 2022-23 year!

Steps for Admission

STEP 1: Get to Know Our School

Read and accept the following documents:

STEP 2: Online Application

Please be sure to select the correct application when you are applying. You will need to choose between “Current Academy Family” and “New Family” and also between “Academy” and “Home Education (Full-time Homeschool/Umbrella)”. Please use a computer when completing the application. 

A non-refundable Application Fee and a non-refundable Registration Fee will be required upon submission of each student’s application. To find out more about financial requirements, please see our Financial Policies posted in our public, online folder. Parents are responsible for the cost of curriculum, supplies, textbook lease fees, and uniforms (grades 6-12). Click on the following link if you are interested in applying for tuition assistance

STEP 3:

The school will be in contact with you soon to inform you if we have an immediate opening, or if we have added your student to our waitlist.

If there is space available, these additional documents will need to be uploaded (where applicable):

  • your child’s birth certificate
  • your child’s immunization records or religious exemption form
  • your child’s previous two years of school records (report cards, standardized test scores)
  • any educational or psychological testing dated and signed by an educational psychologist within the previous three years
  • a pastoral reference letter
