Patrick Wright has over 40 years of teaching experience having spent the first 31 years in public schools. He graduated from Tennessee Wesleyan College of Athens, TN, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Mr. Wright received a Master’s Degree and an Educational Specialist Degree from Lincoln Memorial University in 1992 and 1997 respectively. His Tennessee teacher license declares his experience teaching elementary grades 1st through 9th, general science for grades 7-12, biology for grades 7-12, and chemistry for grades 7-12. Mr. Wright’s teacher license also includes administrative supervisor for grades K-12. Since retiring, he has taught at several area Christian schools in the areas of science, Bible, and computer skills. Most recently, Mr. Wright served as a director of missions development. He has a passion for volunteer missions work and has helped disciple pastors and church leaders in Jamaica, Kenya, India and a number of other countries. He has also led student groups to Kentucky, Jamaica and Canada. His favorite verses are: Luke 10:27, “And he answering said , ‘Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself,’” and Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
