Gina comes to us from the “Sunshine State” where she graduated from the University of South Florida in 2003. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and then went on to pursue an endorsement in GIFTED education and ESOL (English as a second language). Gina has over a decade of experience in the classroom, both in public and private Christian schools, wherein she taught 1st, 2nd and 4th grade. In 2007, she was awarded “Teacher of the Year”. In addition to teaching, she has been involved in ministry volunteering as a Sunday school teacher, organizing Vacation Bible School and even becoming the Director of Children’s Church at her past church. Currently, she and her family attend Providence Church where she is involved in the Women’s Ministry and Children’s Ministry. She is happily married to her husband, Chris, and they have two children, a son named Luke and a daughter named Hannah. Gina is very excited to embark on this new adventure that the Lord is entrusting her with. She looks forward to working with the parents to raise up the next generation of disciples. She reminds herself daily of her favorite verse, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6
