Tanya Leab is an American Sign Language teacher and has a background in American Sign Language as an interpreter. She worked at Jacksonville State University as an educational interpreter in the classroom for 5 years. Mrs. Leab has also worked as a freelance interpreter for the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind and as a job coach for the Deaf at Alabama Vocation Rehabilitation Services. She is married to Danan and they have two teenagers, Sarah and Matthew.
