Christie Miller graduated from Liberty University with a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. After substitute teaching at River’s Edge for many years, and has been teaching 3rd grade here since 2014. Christie grew up in Knoxville and graduated from Christian Academy of Knoxville. Christie and her husband, Eric, have been married since 1999 and have two children at River’s Edge. She and her family attend Friendship Baptist Church where they also serve as part-time staff. One of her favorite verses is Philippians 4:7 “And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
